As a Model United Nations, it is the duty of the organisers, the secretariat of the Model UN to ensure that the simulation is as accurate as possible, that debate is not just restricted to the technical but has the politics that exists in the United Nations. What better to ensure the accuracy and the complexity of debate is maintained than to collaborate and coordinate with the United Nations itself. The United Nations Information Centres do exactly that.
VIT Chennai Model United Nations is proud to announce a collaboration with the United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan.
HeForShe is a campaign driven by UN Women in a bid to establish a
cloud of equality among the genders. It strives to educate people,
and to pledge their support to committing for the movement. As
contemporaries of young generations, we are the torch-bearers who
must instill these values so that the future generations are able to
imbibe the same.
We at VITCMUN hope to do the same. Give people of all genders an equal chance, an equal shot at everything.
